The new Fieldmaster-ED80DS is perfect for serious birdwatching and nature observations. This high-end instrument features a triplet objective lens providing a highly colour corrected image and overall excellent optical performance.

Exotic ED glass. Extra-low dispersion (ED) glass is employed in the Fieldmaster's construction which virtually eliminates chromatic aberration, or false colour, and delivers high-fidelity true-colour images.

Precision focuser - ideal for viewing and imaging! This superb spotting scope features a precision 10:1 ratio dual-speed focuser for exceptional focusing accuracy.

Close-focus just 4m! The Fieldmaster is the perfect instrument to get up-close and personal with bird and other wildlife. When the opportunity permits the Fieldmaster will focus down to just 4m (that's just over 13 feet in old money!) and that's close enough to see the parasites scampering about in the feathers of a bird.
