This terrific kit features a 4-in-1 imaging kit comprising: Visual microscope with eyepiece delivering twist-turret selectable magnifications of 100x, 200x and 450x, webcam camera with standard lens as well a special eyepiece adaptor that allows the camera to be used as a digital eyepiece with the microscope allowing stunning full colour motion picture videos to be captured at 30 frames per second and highly detailed stills at even higher resolution.

Built-in specimen illuminator The microscope features a built in illumination system (2x AA batteries required - not included) that provides perfectly lit images of specimens on standard glass slides (some prepared slides are even included with the microscope as well as a handful of blank slides and top covers to get you going!).

The Webcam One of the great things about this kit is the incluided webcam USB camera. Just plug it into the USB port of your PC and you are ready to start imaging. The standard lens allows the webcam to be used as an ordinary camera and it comes supplied with a tilting table-top stand for this purpose. But simply remove the lens and add the ocular adaptor that allows the camera to be attached to the microscope and you have a powerful digital microscope allowing the user to explore the micro world and share the results with pin sharp still pictures and and full motion video clips.
